Environmentally Friendly
Tougher environmental regulations and heavy fines demand greater care in handling, transferring and properly disposing of oil. The QuickEvac™ system offers fool-proof, spill-proof protection. Leak-free quick couplers with direct draining to final containment eliminate leaks and spills. The QuickEvac™ system keeps service techs, the workplace and the environment cleaner and safer.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),"Improperly disposed oil is the largest single source of pollution fouling our nation’s waters. Just one quart of used oil can produce a two-acre oil slick, while one gallon (of oil) can foul one million gallons of water."

Contamination Control
Today's high-performance diesel engines demand cleaner fluids for optimal performance and life. Tighter tolerances, higher pressures and computerized controls require even cleaner fluids. Even small improvements in contamination control are yielding big results in engine and component life. The QuickEvac™ system automatically filters new oil on entry to the engine, before the oil enters the engine. It also pre-fills new oil filters automatically, safely and correctly, eliminating the need to fill filters by hand.

Safety
It's estimated that up to 30 percent of injuries related to heavy construction equipment occur when technicians climb on or off their equipment. The QuickEvac™ system dramatically reduces the need for technicians to climb up or under their equipment during routine PMs.With the QuickEvac™ system, the need to get under machines to remove belly guards or to position or remove drain pans is eliminated. Instead, with ground-accessible service points, the QuickEvac™ system allows technicians to purge old filters of hot oil, evacuate the engine oil and refill – all from a single point.

Used oil is pumped directly from compartments into final waster containers of lube trucks – no pans or catch basins are needed. No hot oil hits the PM technician, the ground or the machine.

Finally, because new oil is introduced into the engine via the main oil passages and filters, the engine is fully prelubricated on fill. This means techs have a “live” read on the engine dipstick with out climbing on to the machine, starting the engine, shutting down and then topping off the oil levels.Fewer steps mean less chance of error and injury. The process is safer for the technician, the machine and the environment.
